Catalog Specialist

About the role

Herfeh is looking for a Catalog Specialist to join its on‑site team in Amman. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing product listings so that artisans’ handmade items are presented clearly and attractively to a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update product listings, ensuring accurate and engaging descriptions.
• Organise product information and standardise item attributes across the catalog.
• Collaborate with artisans, internal teams, and customer support to gather detailed product data.
• Monitor catalog performance, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and propose structural improvements.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency throughout the catalogue.

Required profile

• Strong catalog management experience, including structuring and maintaining product data.
• Analytical mindset to review data, spot issues, and suggest data‑driven enhancements.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Customer‑focused attitude, aligning catalog content with shopper needs.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling product information.
• Ability to work on‑site in Amman within a diverse, craft‑focused environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in e‑commerce, marketplaces, or product information management (advantage).

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with basic content management systems.
