Chief Financial & Investment Officer – International Investment Group

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded senior finance executive to join a privately owned international investment and holding group with interests in private equity, operating companies, real estate and global financial investments. Reporting to the Chairman & CEO and directly accountable to the Board, the role combines financial leadership with investment oversight and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s finance function across all entities and jurisdictions, overseeing accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting and cash management.
• Direct the annual audit process, coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust financial policies, internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Build institutional‑quality reporting for all investments and monitor the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies.
• Design KPIs and management dashboards, coordinate periodic valuations and review business plans submitted by portfolio companies.
• Participate in Board, Advisory Board and Investment Committee meetings, providing strategic input on acquisitions, capital allocation and value creation.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities, support acquisitions and disposals, and oversee tax planning in coordination with international advisers.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance experience, preferably within an investment‑focused or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage with portfolio company management, boards and external partners.
• Proven track record in establishing reporting systems, strengthening controls and driving governance.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50 % based in Jordan/Dubai and 50 % international travel).
