Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Telecommunications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing telecommunications company in Erbil. The CFO will shape financial strategy, ensure robust reporting, and support the organization’s expansion goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the executive leadership team and Board.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with senior leadership roles in ISP, telecommunications, or technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, treasury management, cash‑flow optimisation, taxation, compliance and financial reporting.
• Proven track record of developing financial strategies that drive growth and operational excellence.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
