Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Jordan

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead its Networks business in Jordan. The CTO will act as a trusted advisor to operators, drive long‑term network evolution and support the Key Account organization with business development.

Key responsibilities

• Position Ericsson as the strategic partner for operators through vision, thought leadership and technology advisory.
• Drive and support a 5G acceleration strategy to increase market share in radio and transport.
• Develop business and technical rationale for 5G deployments with customers.
• Lead cross‑portfolio engagements, regain operator trust and deliver total cost of ownership benefits.
• Engage with VP/Director‑level operators, orchestrate local technology roadshows and regulatory events.
• Support Key Accounts with network sales and business development initiatives.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of 5G technologies.
• Expertise in radio interface engineering.
• Experience in network planning and optimization.
• Familiarity with Ericsson Radio and Transport portfolio.
• Minimum 10 + years of technical/pre‑sales experience in telecom.
