Civil / Architectural Site Engineer

About the role

Al-Ma'bar For Contracting is seeking a Civil or Architectural Site Engineer to join its Amman office. This full‑time, on‑site position involves supervising daily construction activities, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and manage construction teams.
• Coordinate schedules and activities with contractors, subcontractors, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor project progress, conduct quality inspections, and report status, issues, and risks.
• Review structural and architectural details, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including reports and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Hands‑on site experience as a civil or architectural engineer.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
• Ability to manage on‑site activities, supervise teams, and coordinate daily work schedules.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience using structural analysis tools.
• Competence in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
