Cluster Director Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Cluster Director Sales & Marketing leads the sales teams of multiple Marriott properties in Amman and Aqaba, overseeing more than 300 peak rooms and significant catering revenue. You will drive both reactive and proactive sales initiatives, align marketing efforts with brand strategy, and build long‑term, value‑based relationships with key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for demand generators across the cluster.
• Manage day‑to‑day sales operations, including group, corporate, and leisure segments.
• Lead and coach sales associates to meet booking and revenue targets.
• Oversee the marketing budget, create property‑specific campaigns, and coordinate with regional marketing communications.
• Evaluate and optimize participation in all sales channels, including electronic lead platforms.
• Provide market intelligence and adjust sales strategies based on economic trends and competitive analysis.
• Ensure implementation of Marriott’s service strategy and brand initiatives throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management plus 4 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year degree with 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise a sales team.
• Proven lodging sales experience within the hotel industry.
• Track record of progressive career growth and exceptional performance.
