Cold Station Food Worker (Full-time)

About the role

The Cold Station Food Worker supports the all‑day dining operation at RAW & BOWL'D in Amman. Working both on‑site and remotely for tasks such as menu documentation, the role focuses on preparing salads, bowls and other chilled menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble cold dishes (salads, bowls, chilled plates) following exact recipes.
• Portion, label, and store ingredients ensuring correct temperature control and hygiene.
• Restock the cold station and monitor inventory levels throughout service.
• Communicate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate orders and maintain smooth flow.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of the cold station area.
• Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation records for the cold station.
• Ensure all food items are rotated according to FIFO principles.
• Assist with menu documentation and labeling updates remotely as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in basic food preparation, especially in a cold kitchen or garde‑manger environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and proper food storage practices (temperature control, labeling, rotation).
• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines and presentation standards accurately.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills for a fast‑paced, all‑day service.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift supplies and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with kitchen, service and management teams.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
