Commercial Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive Commercial Specialist to act as the operational hub for two critical functions: driving small‑business (SMB) sales opportunities and coordinating formal procurement, RFP and tender responses. The role ensures rapid turnaround on SMB quotes and flawless compliance on complex procurement bids.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound SMB inquiries, qualify leads, issue standardized pricing proposals and close transactional deals.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and account records in the CRM system.
• Monitor incoming RFPs, RFQs and expressions of interest, creating compliance checklists and submission timelines.
• Coordinate with technical, legal and management teams to gather specifications, obtain pricing approvals and secure required signatures.
• Maintain a centralized repository of company profiles, compliance certificates, standard answers and past proposal assets.
• Support the preparation and submission of complete, compliant procurement bids.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Sales and account‑management experience to develop opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Purchasing experience to coordinate orders, negotiate with suppliers and manage commercial documentation.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work on‑site in Amman, collaborate within a team and adapt to changing business needs.
