About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commis to join our hotel kitchen team within the Accor network. In this role you will support the culinary team by delivering high‑quality food service for à‑la‑carte and buffet offerings while ensuring a welcoming experience for our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest service in collaboration with colleagues.
- Prepare, cook, and serve all food items for à‑la‑carte and buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Know all menu items, daily features, and promotions to answer guest inquiries.
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures, service standards, and safety and sanitation regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor.
Required profile
- Previous experience in the culinary field.
- Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent (asset).
- Culinary diploma or certification (asset).
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
- Team‑oriented with a focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Opera hotel management system or similar.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
