About the role
Prepare special meals, regulate kitchen equipment, and ensure food quality and safety as part of the Food & Beverage team at a Marriott Westin property in Aqaba.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, including cold foods.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; pull and thaw frozen items.
- Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish, and ensure proper food quality and quantity.
- Communicate with chefs and service staff about menu specials, excess items, and out‑of‑stock items.
- Follow company safety, security, and sanitation policies; report maintenance needs and incidents.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members as needed.
Required profile
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant food‑service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
