Commis II – Beach Club

About the role

The Beach Club is looking for a motivated Commis II to support the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality food service. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy consistently excellent meals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling and storing fresh produce.
• Measure, weigh and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
• Cook and assemble dishes, including cold foods, while monitoring temperature and presentation.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Test food for doneness and maintain food quality throughout preparation.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and ensure proper sanitation of the kitchen, tools and equipment.
• Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant kitchen or food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb without assistance.

Required skills
