Commis / Pastry Chef

About the role

Four Winters is seeking a passionate and reliable Commis / Pastry Chef to join its kitchen team. You will prepare high‑quality menu items while upholding strict food safety, cleanliness, and consistency standards. Working closely with colleagues, you will help deliver the experience that defines Four Winters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Four Winters' recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation and portioning.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, workstation organization and support opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times, handling and storing food properly.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages and keep the kitchen clean, organized and well‑maintained.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service and a positive work environment.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a kitchen, bakery, café or restaurant.
• Passion for food with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and flexibility to work shifts.
• Good teamwork, communication and a positive attitude.
