Construction Project Manager – Site (Aqaba, Jordan)

About the role

ASALI Engineering Consulting & Project Management is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager – Site to lead a major development project in Aqaba, Jordan. The role involves overseeing all on‑site construction activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring delivery against design, quality, schedule, budget and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall site supervision and construction management activities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary supervision teams, contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against the approved programme, identify delays, risks and corrective actions.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, contracts, codes and standards.
• Review contractors’ work programmes, method statements, technical submissions and construction sequences.
• Conduct regular site progress, coordination and technical meetings.
• Oversee QA/QC procedures, site inspections and timely resolution of technical issues.
• Manage variations, claims, site instructions and contractual matters.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, completion, snagging and hand‑over activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and site regulations.
• Prepare and review management reports, progress updates, risk registers and other project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 20 + years of professional experience in construction, site supervision and project management.
• Extensive experience managing large‑scale, complex building projects, preferably high‑rise, mixed‑use and hotel developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, site management, QA/QC and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Deep understanding of contracts, specifications, construction documentation and project delivery procedures.
