Construction Surveyor

About the role

The Surveyor will lead all land and construction surveying activities for projects in Aqaba, ensuring that works are executed accurately according to approved drawings, design coordinates, levels, and specifications. The role supports the construction supervision team by verifying setting‑out, monitoring progress, preparing reports, and maintaining precise survey records throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform surveying and setting‑out for construction works in line with approved drawings and specifications.
• Establish and verify project control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and levels.
• Check contractor setting‑out before construction starts and conduct as‑built surveys.
• Carry out topographic, boundary, and site surveys as required.
• Monitor construction activities, identify discrepancies, and report them.
• Prepare daily and weekly survey reports and maintain accurate field notes and calculations.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineer, contractors, and project teams, and attend progress meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or related field.
• Membership in the Jordan Engineers Association (where applicable).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction surveying, preferably on building and infrastructure projects.
