Consulting Engineer

About the role

Flint International is seeking two Consulting Engineers for a six‑month fixed‑term contract to support a client in the telecommunications and IT sectors. The role focuses on designing, implementing and optimizing Cisco‑based solutions for customer projects and accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technology design, implementation and optimisation for customer engagements.
• Collaborate with customers to plan, design, configure and diagnose Cisco products, services and solutions.
• Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution designs.
• Build and use test‑lab simulations to resolve complex compatibility issues.
• Create and deliver documentation, portals and knowledge‑transfer materials.
• Develop and review project deliverables such as High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs and implementation plans.
• Act as the primary point of contact for problem resolution on assigned engagements.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3‑6 years of relevant experience in network consulting or professional services.
• Familiarity with Cisco technology and the ability to work with internal and external resources.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate multiple solution alternatives.
