Coordination Consultant – Public Digital Learning Initiative (12‑month)

About the role

The Gateways to Public Digital Learning Initiative, co‑led by UNICEF and UNESCO, seeks a Coordination Consultant to support the design, governance and sustainability of public digital learning platforms worldwide. This 12‑month consultancy will work remotely with occasional travel to partner sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Gateways dashboard and Knowledge Hub, ensuring timely updates and data quality.
• Facilitate country engagement, technical assistance, study visits and peer‑learning activities.
• Support the development and dissemination of the UNESCO‑UNICEF Charter for Public Digital Learning Platforms.
• Generate evidence, prepare technical notes, reports and communications for stakeholders.
• Manage partnerships with UNICEF regional and country offices, UNESCO, champion countries and technical partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, International Development, Public Policy, Digital Transformation, Learning Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in education, digital learning, international development, public‑sector digital transformation, knowledge management or project coordination.
• Proven experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder initiatives involving governments, UN agencies or development partners.
• Experience with digital education platforms, EdTech, or digital public goods.
