Corporate Credit Analyst - CIB

About the role

Bank of Jordan, a leading Jordanian bank since 1960, is expanding its Corporate Banking capabilities and seeks a Credit Analyst to join the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) team. The role involves understanding businesses, assessing credit risk, and supporting financing decisions across Jordan and regional markets. It offers exposure to corporate clients, diverse industries, and the chance to develop expertise in credit analysis and corporate finance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, cash flows, ratios and overall business performance.
• Assess creditworthiness, financial strength and repayment capacity of corporate clients.
• Evaluate business models, industry dynamics and key credit risks.
• Prepare credit analysis, financial reviews and supporting materials for credit decisions.
• Support evaluation of new financing requests and existing corporate exposures.
• Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and the Corporate Banking team.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in credit analysis, corporate banking, financial analysis or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, numerical and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of financial modeling (a plus).
