Corporate Valuation Manager

About the role

An experienced Corporate Valuation Manager is sought to oversee the financial and economic valuation of companies, assets and equity interests. The role prepares financial analyses and valuation studies supporting investment and strategic decisions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring, with accurate results and compliance with approved financial and accounting standards. The position requires willingness to relocate.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and run company valuation models using DCF, comparable company multiples and precedent transactions, and determine fair value of companies, equity interests, assets and investments
• Analyse financial and operational performance and the factors affecting market value
• Study financial statements, balance sheets, income statements and cash flows, and key indicators such as profitability, liquidity, leverage and return on investment
• Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses, and assess financial sustainability
• Carry out investment and acquisition feasibility studies, financial due diligence and provide recommendations on investment and exit opportunities
• Write detailed valuation reports, present results, assumptions and risks to senior management and review and approve models and reports within delegated authority
• Identify financial and operational risks, verify data and assumptions, ensure compliance with the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and accounting standards, and maintain confidentiality, independence and objectivity

Required profile

• At least 7-10 years of practical experience in finance, investment or financial valuation
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Advanced experience building financial valuation models and analysing companies
• Experience in feasibility studies, acquisitions, mergers and financial analysis

Required skills

• Advanced financial analysis and investment valuation skills
• Proficiency in building financial models in Microsoft Excel
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS
• Ability to prepare reports and presentations for senior management
• Leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
