Cost Controller (F&B)

About the role

The Cost Controller will oversee inventory movements, production consumption and waste across all branches and production units of Brown Nose Coffee. You will ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded in Odoo and that variances are identified and addressed promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory movements (receiving, transfers, production, consumption, returns, waste) using Odoo.
• Conduct physical stock reconciliations and verify inter‑branch and warehouse transfers.
• Track production plans and raw‑material consumption across multiple F&B units.
• Compare actual consumption with theoretical consumption, investigate shortages, surpluses and production variances.
• Maintain Bills of Materials and recipes in Odoo to ensure correct costing and yield calculations.
• Analyze waste, keep it within approved limits and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on inventory, production, consumption, waste and cost variances.
• Support month‑end inventory closing and coordinate with Operations, Kitchen, Roastery, Purchasing and Finance to resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost or stock control, preferably in F&B or multi‑branch retail.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically Odoo.
