Cybersecurity Consultant – IoT/OT

About the role

The Cybersecurity Consultant – IoT/OT will help clients secure their industrial and connected environments. Working within multidisciplinary project teams, you will assess, design and implement security solutions for operational technology, IoT devices and critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support security assessments and maturity evaluations for IoT and OT environments.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments and asset classification for industrial systems.
• Develop security architectures, mitigation strategies and technical diagrams.
• Collaborate with technology, engineering and risk teams to translate requirements into security controls.
• Apply security frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
• Assist incident response, vulnerability analysis and documentation of procedures.
• Contribute to internal capability‑building and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Security or related field.
• 1‑4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IoT security, OT security or related projects (including internships or academic work).
• Prior experience in a Big 4 offshore hub.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Understanding of OT protocols (Modbus, BACnet, DNP3, OPC‑UA).
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity tools (IDS, firewalls, vulnerability scanning).
• Familiarity with IoT security concepts, device lifecycle and endpoint protection.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, zero‑trust principles and secure architectures.
• Awareness of security frameworks IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001.
