Data Analyst – GIS & Fleet Performance

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a Data Analyst specialized in GIS and fleet performance to support its Command & Control Centre. The analyst will collect, validate, analyse and report operational, GIS, GPS and fleet data, turning raw information into actionable insights that improve fleet utilisation and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and consolidate fleet, GPS, GIS and operational data for analysis.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, route adherence, trip volumes and key performance indicators.
• Use GIS and digital mapping tools to analyse service areas, routes and vehicle movements.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, KPI trackers and dashboards using Excel and BI tools.
• Support the Command & Control Centre by providing data‑driven recommendations to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, GIS, fleet performance or a similar operational analytics role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Data Analytics, GIS or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet reporting deadlines and adapt to shifting operational priorities.

Required skills

• Practical experience with GIS and digital mapping systems.
• Familiarity with GPS and fleet‑tracking platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and KPI reporting.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar business‑intelligence tools (advantage).
