Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will work on‑site in Amman, contributing to the creation and optimisation of fiber‑optic products and systems. You will translate customer requirements into detailed engineering solutions, ensuring performance, safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update detailed engineering drawings and 3‑D models using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and perform design calculations.
• Prepare technical documentation, support prototype builds and testing.
• Participate in design reviews, resolve technical issues and improve existing designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and provide technical input to manufacturing and operations.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in design and product engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with CAD tools for modeling and drafting.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards and customer requirements.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to work on‑site in a multidisciplinary team.
