Dietitian – Clinical Nutrition

About the role

Ideal Nutrition Center is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Dietitian to join its multidisciplinary team in Aqaba. You will provide personalized nutrition care, translating scientific evidence into practical guidance that supports clients’ health goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients’ nutritional status, review medical histories, and interpret basic lab data.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans that consider medical needs, cultural preferences, and lifestyle.
• Deliver one‑on‑one counseling sessions, educate clients on healthy eating habits, and create tailored meal plans.
• Support weight‑management programs and chronic disease prevention/management through follow‑up and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and contribute to group workshops or educational sessions.
• Stay current with evidence‑based nutrition guidelines and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Relevant licensure or registration where required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work respectfully with diverse clients.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Aqaba and adapt to a clinic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in nutritional counseling, client assessment, goal setting, and motivational interviewing.
• Experience or training in Medical Nutrition Therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
• Competence in weight‑management planning (loss, maintenance, gain).
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic record systems.
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English preferred.
