Digital Health & AI Technology Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Health & AI Technology Lead to join a growing technology startup and take a leading role in the development and delivery of innovative digital health solutions. This hands‑on leadership position combines strong technical capabilities with R&D leadership, client management, solution delivery, and project management experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the R&D and technical development team from concept through production and deployment.
• Contribute hands‑on to solution architecture, development, technical decisions, and problem‑solving.
• Drive the development of digital health platforms and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Lead technical engagements with clients, translate business and clinical needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end solution delivery, ensuring projects are on time, within scope, and meet high technical standards.
• Manage project plans, priorities, resources, risks, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Help establish the technology roadmap, development standards, and R&D processes as the company scales.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of relevant technology experience, preferably with digital health or healthcare technology exposure.
• Strong software engineering and solution architecture background with a hands‑on approach.
• Practical experience developing or integrating AI/ML capabilities, ideally within healthcare solutions.
• Proven experience leading technical or R&D teams.
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of managing complex technology projects from concept to deployment.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment, taking ownership and wearing multiple hats.
• Based in Egypt or Jordan and able to support an 80% remote / 20% onsite working model.
