Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will act as the strategic business leader for the hotel, overseeing all core operational areas and ensuring alignment with brand standards and financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property‑wide operational strategies that drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Monitor profitability, analyze service trends, and make data‑driven decisions to meet budget targets.
• Lead department heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Recreation, and Engineering to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Review financial statements, occupancy rates, wage reports, and controllable expenses, coaching teams to address gaps.
• Manage guest experience by reviewing feedback and implementing corrective actions.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven leadership in hotel or guest‑service environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to align operations with brand strategy.
