Dispatcher – Service & Maintenance Scheduling

About the role

As a Dispatcher in Vestas’ MED Master Scheduling team, you will coordinate the planning, scheduling and execution of service and maintenance activities for wind turbines across the region. The role focuses on optimizing crew deployment, ensuring the right tools and parts are available, and minimizing turbine downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize daily and short‑term crew schedules to align with service contracts and customer expectations.
• Maintain and adjust crew compositions based on demand, weather conditions and skill sets.
• Prepare 12‑week and 3‑week service plans, bundle work orders and verify material availability.
• Track planning KPIs, create purchase requests and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with crews, stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Technical diploma, degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Experience in technical roles, preferably within the wind industry or with wind turbines.
• Strong understanding of planning frameworks and process‑oriented problem solving.
• Effective time management and composure in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of planning techniques and project management methodologies.
