About the role
People in Need is seeking a Donor Engagement Advisor to support the growth of its programmes by strengthening partnerships with Gulf‑based donors. The role will be based in the Middle East, with travel across the Gulf, Africa and the wider region, and will start as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with Gulf‑based donors and partners.
- Manage external positioning of People in Need to enhance donor visibility.
- Coordinate donor engagement activities across country programmes.
- Travel to the Gulf, Africa and the Middle East as required to meet donors and partners.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in donor relations or partnership development, preferably within an international NGO.
- Understanding of the Gulf region’s donor landscape.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently.
