Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Administrator

About the role

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining and continuously improving the D365 F&O ERP platform. Working closely with finance and other business units, the role ensures the system supports financial reporting, operational efficiency and strategic initiatives through configuration, automation and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure D365 Finance & Operations, including system settings, security roles, workflows and business processes.
• Manage application updates, patches and feature deployments while ensuring performance, availability and data integrity.
• Gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications and design system enhancements.
• Develop and automate reports and dashboards using Power BI and D365 reporting tools.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise applications.
• Handle change and release management, including testing, validation and documentation of configurations.
• Provide user support, resolve help‑desk tickets, create training materials and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase ERP utilization and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience working with finance teams.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to design functional specifications and translate business needs into technical solutions.
