Enterprise Support Specialist – National Role

About the role

The Near East Foundation is launching the Jordan MSME Evergreen Fund and seeks an Enterprise Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to entrepreneurs across the country. You will work closely with project teams and travel frequently between sites to guide businesses through financing and development stages.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed enterprise diagnostics to evaluate maturity, viability, market position and growth potential.
• Segment enterprises into Micro, Missing Middle, and Development & Innovation categories based on programme criteria.
• Develop tailored Enterprise Development Plans outlining technical, managerial, financial and market support needs.
• Deliver or coordinate business development services such as business planning, financial management, cash‑flow management, costing, pricing, marketing, digitalisation and market expansion.
• Provide advanced advisory support to Missing Middle and Development & Innovation enterprises throughout the financing cycle and post‑disbursement.

Required profile

• Ability to assess enterprise needs and growth potential.
• Willingness to travel frequently between project sites within Jordan.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills to support business development and investment‑readiness.
