Executive Chef – Lead Kitchen Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations at our property in Amman. The role combines hands‑on cooking with strategic management of multiple food outlets, ensuring high‑quality output and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all kitchen areas including restaurants, banquets, room service, bar/lounge and employee cafeteria.
• Lead, coach and develop the kitchen team, setting performance standards and conducting regular evaluations.
• Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards across all preparation and service areas.
• Manage purchasing, receiving and inventory control to meet budgetary targets.
• Design and update menus, introduce new cooking techniques and equipment, and ensure consistent product quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to align culinary services with overall property objectives.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least 6 years of culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with 4 years of experience.
• Proven ability to supervise large kitchen teams and multiple food service outlets.
• Strong understanding of financial performance, budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
