Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads daily housekeeping, recreation/health club and laundry operations for a hotel in Amman. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas and employee zones are clean, well‑maintained, and meet the property’s quality standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping shift operations, coordinate room status with the Front Desk, and work with Engineering on maintenance needs.
• Manage cleaning schedules, inventory of supplies, and ordering of guestroom and uniform items.
• Conduct inspections of guestrooms and public spaces, communicate corrective actions, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Control departmental expenses, monitor budgets, payroll reports and contribute to achieving financial targets.
• Address guest complaints, promote excellent service, and empower staff to deliver high‑quality experiences.
• Participate in HR activities such as staffing, accident investigations, and enforcement of disciplinary procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
