Expert Consultant for Jordan Growth and Prosperity Programme

About the role

We are seeking experienced experts to join a diverse roster supporting the Jordan Growth and Prosperity (JGAP) programme, a five‑year FCDO‑funded initiative aimed at strengthening economic resilience and fostering private‑sector‑led growth in Jordan and the wider MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to the Government of Jordan on macro‑economic stability, debt management and fiscal pressure reduction.
• Design and implement market‑systems‑development interventions in selected sectors to boost trade, exports and inclusive growth.
• Support value‑chain development, SME growth and innovation initiatives.
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and knowledge‑sharing activities across the programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience in economic development, private‑sector development or market‑systems work in Jordan or the broader MENA region.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies, donors and local partners.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English.
