External Audit Supervisor / Senior Supervisor

About the role

KPMG is seeking an External Audit Supervisor/Senior Supervisor to lead audit engagements across the Middle East. The role involves preparing, delivering, reporting and evaluating audit results to meet stakeholder and regulator expectations. You will work within a large, diverse team to ensure high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategy in line with professional standards.
• Supervise and develop junior engagement team members, delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Perform audit procedures, assess risk, and design appropriate testing approaches.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
• Maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction throughout the year.
• Stay current with developments in accounting and auditing standards and apply them to client engagements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts.
• Experience supervising audit teams and delegating tasks effectively.
• Ability to evaluate audit work requirements against regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to clients and management.
