Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist supports the FP&A Managers in delivering accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Jordan, Palestine, and Syria markets. The role combines strong technical finance expertise with cross‑functional collaboration to enable data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the Annual & Strategic Plan (ASP), Latest Estimate (LE) and Outlook (OL) in line with JTI reporting guidelines.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports including P&L, volumes, OPEX, marketing spend, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Validate month‑end closing financials in partnership with the accounting department.
• Support entity planning and Free Cash Flow (FCF) submissions for Jordan, Palestine and Syria.
• Provide financial input for business initiatives, build financial models and track investments (marketing, OPEX, CAPEX).

Required profile

• University degree in Finance or Accounting; CMA is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar FP&A role within an international FMCG environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• SAP HANA.
• ERP systems experience.
• Financial modelling (IBP is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of financial and management accounting.
