Fire & Environment Team Leader

About the role

The Fire & Environment Team Leader is responsible for directing the fire safety and environmental protection activities across the organization. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the role ensures compliance with relevant laws, monitors performance, and supports the maintenance of property assets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and update fire and environmental procedures for inspections, improvements, and changes.
• Monitor performance, generate Non‑Conformance Reports, and ensure corrective actions are completed by maintenance teams.
• Organise and lead fire and environmental audits, diagnostics, and subsequent action plans.
• Develop and deliver fire and environment awareness and training programmes for staff and managers.
• Oversee field examinations, reporting hazardous locations and materials.
• Research and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.
• Supervise collection and analysis of test samples such as wastewater, dust, emissions, and foam.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in facilities, fire, and environmental management.
• Professional certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, Jordanian OSHI).
• Valid Jordanian driver’s licence.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and related computer applications.
