Food & Beverage Service Expert Lead

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Expert Lead is responsible for delivering high‑quality dining experiences to guests at our Mercado venue in Amman. You will coordinate service flow, ensure compliance with standards, and support a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, answer menu questions, and communicate with the kitchen on order status and availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and service equipment throughout the shift.
• Inspect china, glass, and silverware for presentation and cleanliness before use.
• Monitor guest dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests, relaying this information to the kitchen.
• Follow cycle‑time guidelines for all meals and ensure timely clearing and resetting of tables.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
• Adhere to company safety, security, uniform, and appearance policies.
• Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
