About the role

Mindrift is seeking a freelance legal specialist with expertise in EU and UK law to support AI training projects. This remote, project‑based role involves testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems for leading technology companies.

Key responsibilities

• Generate prompts that challenge AI models and expose edge cases.
• Evaluate AI‑generated legal solutions for correctness, underlying assumptions, and logical consistency.
• Refine AI reasoning to align with first‑principles and accepted legal standards.
• Apply structured scoring criteria to assess multi‑step problem‑solving outputs.

Required profile

• Law degree (Bachelor, J.D., or LLM) focused on EU and UK jurisdictions.
• Minimum 2 years of professional legal practice within the EU or UK.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).

Required skills

• Strong written English (C1+).
