Full-time Waiter – Hotel Dining Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter to join the dining team at ORYX Hotel in Aqaba. The position is full-time, on-site and involves delivering a high standard of service to both leisure and business guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining courteous interaction.
• Set up, clear and reset tables, ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely order delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests and resolve minor issues to enhance the dining experience.
• Follow hotel service standards, food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Assist colleagues during peak periods and support overall service flow.

Required profile

• Strong customer-service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Practical experience or knowledge of food & beverage operations.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Basic cooking knowledge to understand menu items.
• Conversational English.
