About the role
DigiZag is seeking a full‑time General Accountant to join its Finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and assisting with audit and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and support ledger maintenance.
- Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Process supplier invoices, manage staff advances, and assist with payroll data entry.
- Prepare documentation for VAT returns, maintain fixed‑asset registers, and help compile audit schedules.
- Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Growth, Partnerships and Operations on financial matters.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Strong communication skills in English and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
