Global Secondary Diploma (GSD) Educator

About the role

Amala is seeking motivated educators to deliver its Global Secondary Diploma (GSD) programme for young refugees and crisis‑affected youth in Amman. You will design competency‑based learning experiences, mentor students aged 16‑25, and help them build pathways to further education or employment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and facilitate engaging, competency‑based courses that promote student agency.
• Guide students in creating portfolios of evidence and provide regular, constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment in line with Amala’s safeguarding policies.
• Develop community partnerships to connect students with realistic education and career opportunities.
• Participate in the Amala Educator Development Programme and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Growth mindset with a strong belief in competency‑based education.
• Proven experience facilitating inclusive, interactive learning for diverse youth groups.
• Comfortable using digital collaboration tools and working with a global team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and adherence to Amala’s welfare policies.
