Graphic Designer

About the role

Al Salwa Publishers is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join its award‑winning team in Amman. The role is office‑based and focuses on designing and producing high‑quality books and marketing materials for children and young adults.

Key responsibilities

• Design book interiors and covers from concept through to final print.
• Create visually compelling layouts that enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with editors, illustrators, and production teams.
• Prepare print‑ready files and ensure they meet production quality standards.
• Maintain visual consistency across titles and series.
• Contribute to the overall creative direction of the publishing program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing layout, typographic, and illustrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Passion for books, especially children’s literature.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
