Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO)

About the role

Sharif Eye Centers Group is looking for a highly experienced Group Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial strategy of its expanding healthcare network across Jordan and the UAE. The role reports directly to the Group CEO and works closely with the Chairman and Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s overall financial strategy for operations in Amman, Zarqa, and Dubai.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO, Chairman, and Board.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, financial planning and performance analysis.
• Develop consolidated financial reports, dashboards and executive‑level insights.
• Monitor profitability, revenue growth, cost efficiency and performance by branch, department and service line.
• Establish strong financial controls, policies, governance and risk‑management frameworks.
• Manage accounting, treasury, taxation, banking relationships, audits and regulatory compliance in Jordan and the UAE.
• Evaluate investments, expansion projects, CAPEX and new business opportunities from a financial perspective.
• Lead, develop and strengthen the Group Finance and Accounting teams.
• Drive financial transformation, automation, ERP utilization and data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Significant senior‑level financial leadership experience, preferably as CFO, Finance Director or Group Finance Head.
• Proven experience in the healthcare, hospital or medical services sector (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow management, controls and reporting.
• Experience managing multi‑branch or multi‑country operations.
• Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycles, insurance‑related financial processes and profitability analysis.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, negotiation and decision‑making capabilities.
