Group Costing & Fixed Assets Control and Reporting Supervisor

About the role

The Group Costing & Fixed Assets Control and Reporting Supervisor supports the Control and Reporting Manager in overseeing costing, fixed‑asset control and financial reporting across multiple subsidiaries. The role ensures data accuracy, compliance with Group policies and IFRS standards, and prepares documentation for year‑end audits.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain standardized costing methodologies and perform detailed cost variance analysis.
• Review BOM structures, overhead allocations and prepare profitability reports.
• Manage fixed‑asset registers, ensure correct capitalization, depreciation, impairment and disposal entries, and reconcile sub‑ledgers with the general ledger.
• Collect subsidiary data for costing, inventory and assets, and prepare schedules for Group consolidation.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, performing analytical reviews and highlighting variances.
• Prepare audit schedules, compile documentation and respond to auditor queries under supervision.
• Ensure adherence to Group accounting policies, improve processes and support ERP reporting enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in costing and fixed‑asset roles, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience in a multi‑entity or group setting is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP B1.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards related to PPE and inventory.
