HC Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Human Capital Associate to join the Internal Firm Services team at PwC Middle East. The role will support the delivery of people services across the region, handling operational HR tasks from onboarding to off‑boarding while ensuring compliance with local labour regulations. The position is based within the Human Capital unit that drives innovative workforce practices and tech‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HC operational activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, record updates, transfers, letters, documentation and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and changes, validate employee data, liaise with payroll and finance teams, support reconciliations and resolve payroll‑related queries.
• Work with government relations and mobility teams on employment documentation, visa/work‑permit processes, iqama renewals and status tracking.
• Maintain complete employee files, track required documents and support compliance with local labour law, firm policies and internal governance.
• Ensure accurate HR data entry, generate reports and support HR systems maintenance.

Required profile

• Associate‑level professional with strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Team‑oriented problem solver capable of addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Good understanding of HR processes and local labour regulations in the Middle East.
