Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Lead

About the role

Teeba is seeking an experienced HSE Lead to oversee health, safety and environmental activities across its production sites in Jordan. You will ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations and international standards while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor HSE activities across all company sites, ensuring compliance with policies, legal requirements and standards.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify hazards, assess risks and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee fire‑safety systems, emergency preparedness, evacuation drills and first‑aid facilities.
• Investigate incidents, injuries and near‑misses, determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate HSE training, awareness programs and promote a safety‑first mindset.
• Support internal HSE audits and ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and local regulations.
• Lead the HSE team, allocate tasks, coach members and monitor performance.
• Prepare HSE reports, track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, suppliers and authorities on HSE matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in HSE, occupational health & safety or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent occupational safety certification.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to work across multiple locations, especially Amman and Al Hallabat.
