Hostess – Guest Service Support

About the role

The Hostess joins the Guest Service Support team at Marriott International’s Ritz‑Carlton property in Amman. In this full‑time, non‑management position you will help create memorable dining experiences by assisting with table settings, supporting the kitchen, and maintaining clean and well‑stocked service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, arrange linens and place settings according to brand standards.
• Assist kitchen staff by delivering supplies, replenishing stations and handling light food items.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas, including sweeping, mopping and waste disposal.
• Monitor inventory of utensils, glassware and other supplies, restocking as needed.
• Interact courteously with guests, responding to basic inquiries and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; hospitality or food‑and‑beverage experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage service procedures.
• Ability to read menus and follow written instructions.
