Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor – Housekeeping

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the brand’s quality standards after cleaning. This role coordinates housekeeping activities, liaises with other departments and supports management in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing room status.
• Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry.
• Document and resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk and communicate room‑assignment changes.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 lb unaided and moving carts on uneven surfaces.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail for quality inspection.
• Effective communication with multiple departments and guests.
• Proficiency in using computers or point‑of‑sale systems for work‑related information.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies.
