HR Director

About the role

Khibraty, a fast‑growing online marketplace in the Middle East, is looking for a results‑driven HR Director to lead and optimise its HR operations. You will build scalable processes and systems that support workforce management, compliance, compensation, performance administration and data reporting across a multi‑departmental, tech‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operational functions, including HR systems management, employee lifecycle administration, payroll coordination and data accuracy.
• Implement, document and continuously improve HR processes and policies to ensure efficiency, compliance and scalability.
• Manage HR systems such as onboarding platforms, performance review tools, payroll and attendance solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws across Middle‑East jurisdictions and handle regulatory reporting.
• Partner with department heads on workforce planning, staffing metrics and headcount tracking.
• Deliver data‑driven HR insights to senior leadership and manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking and benefits administration.
• Coordinate performance‑cycle administration and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across HR operations.
• Manage relationships with third‑party HR vendors and evaluate new HR tools for operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a senior HR operations or services role.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR regulations in the Middle East.
• Proven experience managing HR systems in a tech‑driven, multi‑departmental organisation, preferably in e‑commerce or marketplace sectors.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent organisational, communication and project‑management skills.
