ICT-ELV Engineer

About the role

Dar, a member of the Sidara group, is seeking an ICT-ELV Engineer to design and deliver integrated information and communication technology, extra‑low‑voltage and security systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Design ICT, ELV and security systems such as fire alarm, structured cabling, data network, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, audiovisual, public address, IPTV/MATV and parking management.
• Perform design calculations, simulations and value‑engineering studies for all systems.
• Prepare and coordinate project drawings, specifications, design reports, BOQs and other deliverables using BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks).
• Attend project meetings, capture action items and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, local authorities, service providers and clients to achieve seamless integration.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and regulations (NFPA 72, NFPA 101, Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense Regulations, etc.).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics or Energy Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience designing ICT and ELV systems for BIM‑based projects in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of ICT and ELV engineering fundamentals and design practices.
• Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.
• Proficiency in design software such as iBwave, EASE, Revit, Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Excellent technical writing, presentation and teamwork abilities.
