Implementation Engineer – Healthcare Data Platform

About the role

The Implementation Engineer will lead post‑sales deployment of Cotiviti’s healthcare data management platform. Working closely with sales and client teams, you will design, configure, and integrate solutions into customers’ existing environments while ensuring smooth data flow and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop implementation plans based on customer requirements and workload sizing.
• Configure, install, upgrade, and integrate Cotiviti products with client systems.
• Collaborate with Implementation Architects and Technical Project Managers to define architecture and operational plans.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, diagnose bugs, and provide technical support.
• Coordinate with Client Services, Product, and Development teams to meet milestones.
• Implement monitoring solutions for healthcare data transactions.
• Deliver software and client‑specific training and create documentation.
• Mentor internal teams on Cotiviti products and custom components.
• Travel up to 75% domestically to customer sites for implementation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience developing and supporting software in the healthcare payments industry.
• Experience with Java or middleware‑based applications and related technologies.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environments.
• Strong background in configuration management, defect tracking, unit testing, build and deployment.
• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping and analysis.
• Customer‑facing integration experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.
